ANIMALADA

Animalada is an Animation studio from Montevideo, Uruguay. They specialize in the development and production of commercials with memorable animated characters.

The following are characters they have created...I love their style. This little red bad boy is MINT! It has the same vibe i would like to have my character to have.

HELLO WORLD MEET VICTOR

A new South African animated series will use offbeat comedy to encourage viewers to analyse their behaviour and take steps in reducing their risk of HIV infection. Scrutinize is a series of short animated commercials known as animerts that will centre on the everyday realities placing young South Africans at risk of infection.
The series is the result of a public private partnership between USAID, John Hopkins Health Education South Africa (JHHESA), Levi Strauss and series creators Matchboxology, aimed at creating an effective public health messaging tool targeting 18 - 32 year olds.
Matchboxology CEO Cal Bruns
This is exactly what i intend to do when i get back home, one of the things in my REALLY LONG LIST.. Is to create cartoons that will educate and make the audience aware of current affairs, African Issues such as HIV/AIDS, FGM, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, EMANCIPATION OF WOMEN and etc....

Cool Duck Progress

Terry Gilliam

Terry Gilliam has a very unique but yet wierd sense of humour. He's approach reminds me of the Surrealist movement. I am a huge fan of artists such as Rene Magrite and dali offcourse. With the above styles in mind i intend to also look at Heath robinsons style to create my own surreal world for my Visualization Project

Theme Idea

Well i intend to base my game on a Egyptian or Aztec theme. The above clips are from TIMESPLITTER, and Brad did the tomb level, back in 1998!

I like the atmosphere in this level. The caves, the vegetation, the different choice of weapon, the tunnels, the music, the pillars, bridge, waterfalls,..etc u get my point. It kinda reminds me of the Tom Raider game, forgot the full name

Getting My MOJO Back!

It was LOST, but now its BACK!
